Real-world, practical sustainability

Nora Biocosmetics is totally committed to realistic, eco-friendly practices, not just virtue signalling in our marketing. We’re not pretending to be perfect, but we continually seek to do better and make choices to support sustainable skincare.

Sustainable ingredients

We use natural, clean-green New Zealand ingredients that are abundantly available and 100% vegan (except for the healing range which contains organic beeswax).

These ingredients are all farmed without harming beneficial insects, birds, or other wildlife.

Refillable glass jars

According to global waste statistics, 95% of cosmetic and beauty product containers are single-use – that’s 120 billion units of packaging annually!

Recycling is difficult because of the complex mixture of materials used, such as pump bottles with plastic, glass, metal springs, and rubber all built into them. So, they often end up in landfills or incinerators.

Reusable glass jars are the answer!

Just wash your jar & lid in the dishwasher and come to a refill station near you.
